What we're working on next

  • Auto-Tagging & Organization: AI will automatically suggest and add tags (e.g. shopping, tech) when you save a link. We will introduce a fast, zero-clutter quick-save modal for seamless tagging and collection organization.
  • More Themes: Expanding our theme engine beyond the current high-contrast look, offering more comfortable options for dark mode users.
  • Reader Improvements: Fixing the PDF reader mode to prevent gibberish text and moving the Annotation popup behind a right-click menu to prevent accidental triggers.
  • New Features: Web app archiving directly from the dashboard, and tracking multiple archives of a single page over time.

Alphabetical Sorting & IMDb Imports

  • Dashboard Sorting: Added a highly requested 'A to Z' and 'Z to A' alphabetical sorting option for your saves! We've also given the sorting dropdown menu a cleaner, premium neo-brutalist redesign.
  • Browser Extension (v2.7.5): Native IMDb support! You can now save IMDb movies or actors and SaveSync will beautifully extract the movie title and poster art. To keep the IMDb browsing experience clean, the floating SaveSync import button has been hidden on IMDb pages—just use the right-click context menu to save!

Reddit Integration & Media Adjustments

  • Reddit Native UI: Rebuilt the Reddit integration from scratch! Since Reddit actively blocks third-party video embedding, we introduced a beautifully styled, native-looking Reddit post card that elegantly presents scraped text right in your dashboard.
  • Twitter Videos: Constrained Twitter video heights and adjusted aspect ratios so vertical videos (like TikToks or Reels) no longer awkwardly dominate your screen on desktop.
  • UI Polish: Fixed the curved-shadow visual bug on the Sidebar Highlights and Chat tabs for a cleaner Neobrutalist look.
  • Browser Extension (v2.7.3): Fixed a bug where saving a YouTube video after clicking it from the sidebar would incorrectly save the previously watched video. Additionally, resolved strict Mozilla Firefox validation errors for full Manifest V3 compliance.

Sync fixes, Folder Selection & UX Polish

  • Syncing & Mobile: Fixed syncing issues between the web version and mobile app, and improved Android app responsiveness when adding bookmarks from the browser.
  • Stability: Fixed app crashes when returning to the vault, and resolved an issue where bookmarks appeared to disappear when archived.
  • Multiple Folder Selection: Added checkboxes for selecting multiple folders at once.
  • Hide/Unhide Posts: You can now hide or unhide any post directly from the right-click context menu in your dashboard.
  • Wider Reader View: Drastically increased the width of the Reader View, giving your articles more breathing room on larger screens.
  • UI Polish: Fixed text contrast issues across various buttons (yellow backgrounds now use high-contrast dark text) for better readability.

Import Stability & Smart Categorization

  • Import Deduplication: Large bookmark HTML imports are now extremely stable. The importer automatically sanitizes malformed URLs and skips duplicates to prevent errors.
  • Raindrop Bookmarks: Imports from Raindrop now preserve your original save date and are fully sortable by it, rather than defaulting to the import date.
  • Platform Categorization: Fixed an issue where URLs ending in specific domain names were incorrectly categorized as X/Twitter. They now properly default to the Web platform.
  • Font Consistency: Enforced the primary Space Grotesk font across all body text in the reader view.
